Ingredients
- 250g caster sugar
- 125ml water
- 150ml orange juice
- 300ml cream
Method
- Place the sugar and water into a small saucepan and stir to dissolve
- Place over a medium heat and simmer for 10 minutes
- Take off the heat, allow to cool a little, and stir in the juice and cream
- Place in a shallow dish and freeze
- Cut the top off the oranges and scoop out as much of the flesh as you can
- This is a great job for the kids – let them eat as they go
Notes
Scoop the ice into the oranges and serve immediately.
